Saving the game makes no sense if, when you die during a raid at the observatory, all the soldiers you already took out respawn. It doesn’t make any sense. Please fix that!!!

saving needs some fixing all together i think. my named saves sometimes are not accurate. in order to work around, i have to delete the named save and save again.

and as OP mentioned, everything respawns when loading a save game - that does not make a lot of sense.

If you want a new save slot, use the Quick Save Option. It will then create a new save for you, leaving the older ones down the list.

Enemies do reset on SAVE. That's the way the dev set it up. It's his game and that's the way he wants it, for now atleast. Once you know that's the way it is set up, you can adapt to it. Sometimes driving away and coming back from the hills side can gives you another chance at the Coyotes left, they dont respawn during the same game, or atleast for a couple day/night cycles.

So you're saying it's too much of a challenge for you?

IMHO observatory is the hardest location to clear, a final boss of sorts. Loading a game makes enemies respawn, using respawn system makes enemies respawn too. Only way to stop them respawning is to use respawn blockers - buildable things like campfires, fences and some more. But that's kinda annoying tbh

But hey, you can always watch asmongold play stalker2. That was pure comedy for me

Just make sure that 'Block building in major POIs' is disabled in Settings -> Difficulty -> General

The description on the item will also tell you that it will block spawns.

Simple... When you save a game and then load into that saved game, the game should be exactly as it was when you had saved it. That's how saved games have worked for decades, no ifs nor buts. I truly love this game but that single issue is killing it for me.

I just saved and reloaded and only my vehicle and condition were saved. All loot on me and in the vehicle were gone, and the debug menu ~ does not work when enabled.

Edit: It only did it the first time in the default slot. Saving in a new slot preserved everything. The game is pretty fun.
