Menu Building

I am wondering if I need some kind of update for the game as well, I do not see the menu for the new building items, like floors and such? And do trees NOT re spawn once there cut down?

The trees will respawn every time you log back in. As long as you NEVER log out, they will not grow back.

The building menu I'm not sure about. I haven't been in the game in a few weeks now. Normally there should be "tabs" for you to click on, somewhere near the top I believe, that will have those items.

Check the "build" crafting table to gain access to the buildables.

I tried this with 3 different people. it does not show that build menu on any of them. So I do not know what or how to get it.

When was the last time you started a new game? How old is the save you are currently using? If it's a really old save you'll probably need to start a new game.

Also, try to verify your game files. Maybe something got left out on one of the updates. I'll try to jump in the game real quick and check mine out to see what's up.

Have you been in any survivor camps/safe zones? Each of those have a Cooking Station and a Crafting Station. Those are the same that you have on your Crafting tab in your inventory (Campfire and Crafting Bench).
On Crafting Station or Bench you can build 2 more: a Weapons Bench and a Building Station.
Craft a Building Station, place it and choose to craft. There are Standard and Modular tabs in top middle. Modular tab has all the building parts like floors, walls, stairs, etc. Can't make it any more clear than that, sorry.
