Remove world objects?

Is there a way to remove / clean-up objects placed in the world? I moved into a police office and made it my base, but now wondering, if there is a way to remove the trash and tables, that are blocking proper placement of my own stuff.

If not, wouldn't an item for such purpose, that deletes objects placed in the world with a click on it work? Shouldn't work on the ground and zombies of course.

I was asking myself the same. honestly I thought it was tied to the disassembly bench update would be a cool idea to make disassembling world objects in an area around the bench possible
