loot doesnt regenerate or regenerates as completely empty container

as said above, loot doesnt regenerate. ive tried to toggle the 'disable on load' button, i tried changing the respawn timer, nothing. is there something im missing?

Did you at one point put something back in the box or move something around?
I think that trips some flag.
Drop everything outta that box and see if that works on next load.

I have that problem because I'll drink water and put the bottle back.

Empy the box and try again one or two days (days of game no real time) later.

maybe this? but i tried to empty the containers and wait a few in game days and no dice. idk what to do
