Save/Load - Lost all Items

Died to a landmine in the new areas, came back got my corpse and gear, cleaned out the area and went to hard save my game. After saving the game auto loaded a save where I blow up to the landmine from earlier, come back to my corpse except its my respawn corpse with none of my gear nearby, but the model for my body visibly has my gear. what the hell

in case you didn't know about this:
you can enable the debug menu in the settings, i think under gameplay if im not mistaken.
that will allow you to cheat the items back in, if you want to do that.
