How do you have a stable food supply?

I was able to secure a steady supply of water with a well.
I am uncertain about food.
Is there any native food or agricultural crops?

I've raided the military base on the hill (observatory) a few times and am packed with MRE now. It gives food and water.

For infinite food source I would recommend Hunting for Meat, or Fishing and Cooking, when I read your post I was thinking it's much easier to get food than water, but you are right about the water well

It would be good to build a riverside base for fishing.

Just be carefull with creatures. Bears and dogs are fast and strong, hit them with your car if possible 🙈
