Golden! Thank you!
Really it depends how the a person looks at it and depends on the game dev's life/habits and such, they very well may be very busy outside with his own life which yes they do have a life in spite what some people out there think and because of this they need to use their time wisely.
If they were force to answer all questions everywhere for this game that were posted on all the platforms the game dev setup for the game they be too busy to even work on the game.
They made the choice of using discord, people can use that to talk to the dev or don't and hope what they want is asked by another person that is if the game dev don't do anything on other platforms that they setup.
But I agree, he's working alone on this, and has a life, and as someone who's started making his own game, I can readily attest to the fact that it eats up a massive amount of your free time, and everything you add to the project needs a lot of time, in both code errors, behavior bug fixing (like when you add logic to something and as a result of your logic, you see it spinning around wildly in the viewer).
So yeah, I completely see the fact that answering every question everywhere is a massive strain and takes time out of more important aspects of creating the game.
But as said, a little more activity on the platform where the game is being sold would at least put people more at ease, and not make the dev "feel out of reach", since not everyone uses or wants to use Discord, but everyone who has the game uses Steam.
I totally agree, we bought the game here so we should be able to get help here. After all that's what we're here for and what EA is all about. To report bugs and other issues. Does no good if the Dev never sees it.
I only started going to Discord to stay informed on whats going on. Not a fan of it at all to be honest.
