can't equip weapons

so I've been finding stuff lick hachets, axes, bats, etc etc.. all i can do is put them in my pack. I literally cannot equip any fkn weapons other than a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ knife in the Melee slot...

what's the deal?

You gotta make sure to drag out anything in the melee slot first, then drag over the weapon you want to use for melee. If that don't work its most likely a bug of some kind.

How people can't figure this out is beyond me. They literally try everything except the one thing that is pretty intuitive.

well when I first tried to put a weapon in, there wasn't a knife in the melee slot and it was still coming up as a red background when I tried to drop an axe/baseball bat into primary.... so.... ... yeah?

I guess I'm just used to doing everything I can to FITFO as it's generally faster than asking for help when the roadblock is minor.

You are a total prk. this is why people dont ask for help because dche bags like you respond needlessly. the person was having trouble and wanted to ask the community for help. grow up and stop being a dche bag.

I wrote this almost 2 years ago. Figured it out at that point. Also back then this was broken for that period. Post dates help a lot.
