I've seen (regular) traders sell credits for 29 999 each. If the special stuff just cost more, it would be crazy amounts.
Since you can also find credits, it makes it a special thing to look for.
The alternative, I guess, would be that sometimes you'd find tens of thousands of dollars?
But then you could spend that money on other stuff. Credits are only for the credit traders. I imagine you can sell them, but then you'd only get a little bit of the value.
In general, I agree with you about many currencies being problematic, but I think in this case it's fine.
This is just an ingame currency, anyway.
The whole point of having a whole bunch of different currencies when real money is involved is to obfuscate the true costs of things and try to manipulate people to spend more.
There's none of that happening here, so there's no reason for there to be a dozen different currencies in this game.
oh i know why they are used BUT as we can see thing not always get used for what they invented it, look at AAA 60-70 dollar games with microtransaction shops and so on, they are invented for free 2 play games but that did not stop devs from using them in payed games either eh =D BUT i know that's a complete other topic so i'll stop that line of thinking.
Yeah, I get you, and I agree that kind is bad, but my whole point is that this isn't the case here, so it's not something we have to worry about for the time being.
