I bet you anything that the DPI on your mouse is way too high. What DPI setting do you use?
I've been a competitive counter-strike player for years now, so I am not new to low sensitivities. I run 800DPI with a CS:GO in game sensitivity of 1.5, if that helps as reference.
Hmm... I haven't tried to get it to work for some time. I am pretty sure that is something I would have tried already, but it's worth another shot. Thanks for the continued help!
I know this post was made a year ago, but I still feel your pain. I ended up buying a SteelSeries Rival, and with the SteelSeries engine you can set the DPI to as low as 50. That's the only way I have been able to play games with way to high of sensitivities. It sucks, I normally use a Zowie EC2-A, but have to bring the Rival out to play certain games that require lower than 400DPI. (I now play CS at 400DPI/1.8 in game).
Not really a solution, but the only way around it I could see.
If you don't have the special buttons on your mouse for altering DPI, your best bet is to change it manually in control panel every time you launch the game.
Yeah, this is a very poor port
I think it's a good port.
If you are using a Steelseries mouse, it may be compatible with their SteelSeries 3 Engine. Then you can do application based DPI profiles.
In my opinion Fear 2 has the best graphics in the entire fear series.
