Questions about F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn DLC region restrictions!
Hi guys,

I've been trying to get this DLC for some time now bot for some reason it's region locked. Now, according to SteamDB (https://steamdb.info/sub/2060/) you cannot buy the game form those countries but is there any chance you can activate it?

I am thinking on buying the Bundle Stars bundle just for it and I am not sure if I can activate it.

I sent an emai to BS but their answer was that they are not sure if I can or cannot activate it.

Has anyone did this before?

not sure about Romania, but Russians were able to activate steam gifts

Well, I had no problem activating region locked gifts, one of them begin Arkham City. My guess is since both are WB games it should work but I have my doubts. Especially since Arkham City became ROW while Reborn didn't.

It is nice to hear that Steam gift is working for this DLC. I live in Slovakia and for some unknown reason I cannot find anywhere I cant activate the CD Key for the DLC. I would be happy if I would find someone who can send me a gift for FEAR 2: Reborn DLC. First i would send a Key for the DLC which i cannot activate and you would try it if it works. So it would be the same DLC for DLC offer but both sides will be satisfied because i have no other option to get this DLC working :( .

Try to contact chameLeon, maybe he has another key. I would be more than happy to help you but I am not sure if I will get the DLC if I buy that bundle or they will give me only the games. You can also try on ssteamtrades/steamgifts but no one can guarantee you it will work or you won't encounter scammers. You can also try games shops like greenmangaming or gamersgate.

Thx for the answer. I am a little bit confuesd now, Was it a key or gift actually? Because i have a key for Reborn DLC, which i cannot activate (I bought a whole FEAR Collection, and it was for nice price, only couldn´t activate the DLC, then i found out its region-lock etc.) I was almost sure that i cannot activate key only Gift, but in recent post you said you got a key and now I am not sure about it :D .

In my case, gift. And it worked. But usually you will get keys on those websites. In this case you may try to make a friend somewhere where this game is not region locked. But keep in mind that Valve is trying to to region lock gifts as well.
