No Serial Key?

I recently purchased a boxed copy of FEAR 2, new in the box, still shrink wrapped, and the CD key is no where on the box, inside the box, on the disc, or in the manual. I ever checked in obscure places like the back of the insert. Is it just me, or is this just me as a minority?

I purchased it from a specialty games shop in my area. Things like new and pre-owned pc games.

Sounds fishy.
Maybe you can contact Steam support to see if they want to let you register it to Steam, but I'm not sure they will
Or you can ask the guys in the shop if there's a key

There is a key. If not you was set by shop or of stupidity of the owner of the shop...

Hi Azatoth, i had the same problem: bought game (for PC) still sealed - unwrapped it - no key anywhere. I forgot all about it because we did move shortly after purchase and did find it today. Now i just want to know if you were able to get it started somehow. What did you do? Thanks in advance and cheers from germany

Unfortunately, I never got this one solved. I ended up biting the bullet and just re-buying it on the Steam store.
