Crashing constantly on every game mode

The game boots up, the main menu and everything works perfectly fine, but every-time I try to run a match (any game mode, whether its online or offline) my game certainly loads up-to 70%+ exactly every time and then immediately crashes.
I’ve shown my save file info, MyTeam platform id, and went to MyCareer to show the apparent crash all together in the video which 2K support asked me for.

(p.s - I’ve performed a clean reinstall of the game and this is after the reinstalling, so the problem still persists)
So if I try running a quick play game, it would crash after loading 70%
If I try running a domination match, loads till 70% and crashes.

Edit - Have tried all the methods 2K Support has asked me for, whether it be showing them dxdiag, sfcdetails files, videos of everything and what not, there is just no fix to this yet
My PC specs are perfectly capable of running this game, Ran the game in clean boot and what not.
I'm just tired at this point, it was running perfectly for 4 days when I bought it, and suddenly its crashing on every single game mode now.

Verify the game files, update your graphics card driver, re-install Windows cause you have a virus somewhere or a virus damage one of your registry

Thanks for the reply @Nomad_One, I've verified game files, updated graphics cards way before two or three times already, and just earlier also re-installed my windows and reinstalled the game. And the problem is still going on. 72% and it crashes, no matter what game mode. Can't really be a virus if I'm not having issues while playing other games. Surely has to be something wrong with 2K at this point. I've tried almost 99% of the fixes that I was told to do, and I still can't play NBA yet, just breaks my heart.

I have this BS where I try to get badges by playing my career games and I cant even get into the game. I just made my player and when I am on the bench the game will freeze if I hit A to speed it up so I can get in the game... everytime it just freezes and I am on a High end computer and really shoulda just stayed on PS5 for 2k but I like PC and gave it another shot and now I cannot even grind for badges in my career before going into the Park or Boat... Anyone else have this issue?
P.S. In previous 2k basketball games I have had the slow down but now in this game it comes to a stop. It will NOT come out of it and I have to actually sign out and come back into windows but I cannot get it to work and I know and do not have any viruses and just downloaded the game for the first time. ..

If it's happening in all games modes at the exact same percentage, something specific on your PC isn't loading properly as no-one else is reporting it. But if you've verified files, it might be something outside the game being called.

Have you had a Windows or driver update lately? Have you tried reinstalling the C++Redistributables from 2012 to present?

@Zeokage, thanks for the reply, the fact you mentioned the Windows update, reminds me, yeah, when my windows update was completely installed, where my PC shows "Update & Shut down//Restart" when trying to turn off the PC, is when the crash started happening.
Any way I can fix this? Would really appreciate any methods you can provide. At this point I'm down to do anything to play this game T^T

Did the update complete correctly? Have you checked whether there are any other updates pending?

I believe so yeah, if not how I check? I’ve run a SFC scan, and not found any broken files or smth like that. Sry I fell asleep

If I try running an update scan, it says up-to-date or no new windows update found

Just to make sure, is your NVIDIA Control Panel still using that card for the game under 3D Settings (I think that's the area)?

Yep, thats on. nothing wrong with settings since playing other heavy graphics included games very easily

I'm not sure this is an isolated incident. I started up NBA 2k22 today and had a crash in game (frankly not uncommon) but when I went back to play mycareer it loads the game but crashes after I press A on the load screen. I tried multiple game modes and a new mycareer to make sure it wasn't a corrupted save but no game will get beyond the load screen. I am using Steam on linux and running Proton GE 7-17 which has worked in the past. I tried different known working Proton versions as well so it was not a Proton issue as far as I'm aware. I verified my game files and they passed. My downloads show that there was an update to 2k22 today so I'm not sure if that might be the issue.

*edit* I also tried deleting my compatdata folder and letting it rebuild as that has helped overcome issues in the past
