it will be until they shut the servers down on january 1, 2024. just to be absolutely clear, you are renting this game for 2 years, not buying it. then you'll have to go get the next one.

i still can play offline seasons and franchise in nba 2k17 but yeah online for the old ones gets shut down

2K is a great single player experience... MyLeague is arguably the best Franchise/Dynansty/Manager Mode in all of sports Video games...

Worth $10 for offline SP mode?

I'm interested in GM mode, owner stuff, and single player career. I've heard you can't simulate games is this true for offline or just online?

They will shut off the servers in a few months, long before you got your money's worth out of single player/MyCareer. Shady business moves are the norm for 2kSports.

I don't think GM Mode and "owner stuff" (Franchise?) is connected to the online portion of the game. If so, it will be fully playable post-shutdown.

I can't play the game offline after the servers are gone after 2 months?

The only modes that would go with it are those that require an internet connection. I suggest playing the game while offline sooner rather than later to get an idea of what it will be like.

Yes. Franchise mode and gameplay are both good.
