Cant upgrade my player

Hey, im 60ovr with 3329 VC im already in NBA and im about to do the 4th game, but when i try to upgrade my player i just cant, its says "Purchase failed" is this a bug or a part of the game? im confused and i cant score ONE point, my player is dumb and terrible, in NBA 2K21 I can upgrade even in college, someone with the same problem?

So I restarted the game and worked I hope they fix this
