Xbox Controller not Recognized?

I just bought an Xbox controller for my PC, to play also 2K22 but apparently this game recognize it as a generic bluetooth controller and as default there is no mapping for the two analogs. I don't know if it's the game but it doesn't show me ABXY, but a generic 1234 as buttons. How do I solve this?

I have the same problem, however if you connect your controller to your pc it recognizes the controller x box

Does steam recognize your controller is connected?
You can check it from Steam (top left corner) > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings. Make sure the Xbox configuration is ticked. Then restart steam and see on the General Controller Settings > Detected controllers if your xbox controller is detected.

I have connected 3 different types of controller with this game. I have used and played with an old xbox 360 controller and works great. I played/connect an Xbox One and Xbox One Series S/X controller. Both controllers work great with the game. My guess would be it's on your computer's end. Perhaps an outdated bluetooth driver or a lack of software aka Xbox controller software needs to be installed or updated.

Steam Settings --> Controller --> Basic Settings for Controller and there "turn on/put a tick" for :

- Custom settings for Playstation gamepad
- Custom settings for XBOX gamepad
- Custom settings for Regular gamepad

Now in game my "Speedlink Rait" gamepad works perfect.
