Stuck at 0% update downloading in nba 2k22
i have downloaded nba 2k22 but it stuck at 0% bar in downloading update, anyone have the same proplem ??

I did end up submitting a support ticket to 2k. But if anyone has any other suggestions as to what to try please let me know.
same on windows 7 64 bit
This sounds like a case where everyone on non-Windows 10 should send in a ticket to 2K so they know that's the potential reason for the issue and forward it to the devs.

Just to check, I have to assume there haven't been any updates to the older OS's that need to be installed?
Nope, i have all updates of Win 8.1

I had the same problem. For me it helped to clear space on my secound ssd.
Did you guys check to see where your Steam folder is? (not Steam Library). I had my steam folder saved on another drive that was low on space (E drive). 2k was saved on H drive with ample space. Ended up moving my steam folder to H drive and reinstalling Steam. You'll have to remap your Steam Libraries (Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library folders) but that fixed the issue for me. I'm on Windows 10 though.

There may be some software blocking your connection to our servers.

If that's the case, we'll need you to try a PathPing and a TraceRoute to see if there is any interference.

That may sound intimidating, but don't worry! Just follow these steps:

On a computer (which needs to be connected to the router you are currently using), open the Windows menu, type "CMD" and press Enter.
In the command prompt, enter the following command: pathping -n 104.255.107.131
After a few seconds the command prompt is going to show some statistics. To copy the output, right-click anywhere in the window and select: Select All. Right click again and select Copy. Open Notepad. Press Ctrl+V to paste into Notepad.
Back at the prompt, type tracert 104.255.107.131 and press Enter. Please wait until the window says Trace Complete. Copy that information as well and send both of these documents to us as attachments.

i guess this is the problem with it updating

It appears your packets are getting stuck at akamai and akamai technologies as well. Like to see if anyone else is getting caught at akamai.com and akamaitechnologies.com.

Also wish I knew what to do from here.
Are they on a block list on your firewall or something?

yeah dont know what to do i tryed a support ticket but they said they cant help a steam problem

Yes, but it started 2 weeks ago. Prior to this, all you had to do was delete SYNC.BIN and issue solved.

It's located under Program Files\Steam\userdata\<your id>\1644960\local\

I just contacted my ISP to see if there was anything they could do about it. No luck. I tried using a VPN and connecting to Japan and the Netherlands to see if I can reroute around the Akamai Technology routers, but no matter what, I have to travel through them to get to the 2k servers. I checked the IP that you get stuck at and sad thing is you get held up at the Akamai Technology San Franciso servers which is fairly close to the 2k servers (just north of San Franciso).

Yeah 2k told me to do the same when I submitted my ticket and I am waiting for a reply back.
