Lacking Electronic Bits

I've been playing Loddlenauts on Switch and I am unsure whether I've locked myself out of the next step of the game. I only have 3/4 electronic bits for the depth resistance module and I've got fast travel to Ripple Reef, Tangle Bay, and Flotsam Flats. Of course general litter and goop (my nemesis) regenerate but do electronic bits? Am I locked out of the next part?

There should be some yellow crates around the edge of Metzi Trench (the big deep area along the east side of the map). Those will give you Electronic Bits once you destroy them!
