US Scenario 7 - 60 passengers from Santa Fe to Atlanta
I can't get any passenger to go to Anita. I have rail lines running from Santa Fe, Flagstaff, and Albaquerke. Flagstaff and Albekurke send a few but Santa Fe isn't sending any.

Hi there! What could be happening is that your routes to Anita might be a bit too long and windy. Passengers will not take a route that is longer than double the linear distance between goal and destination. If you trains need to take a complicated route, you could try simplifying it. In a pinch you should also be able to brute force the mission with a straight bridge (expensive solution)

I have not done that scenario yet. If the task is to get 60 passengers from Santa Fe (SF) to Atlanta (AA)>

As per above, make sure the SF to AA path is as direct as possible.

Make sure the SF to AA route the only way passengers can get to Atlanta from SF side of the map. Have SF connected to Cities on its side of the map so you get more SF transit passenger traffic. Have AA connected to Cities on its side of the map so you get more AA transit passenger traffic.

Good luck.

Sometimes passangeres don't take it even if it's not double the lenght.
But this is probably something how the game measures distance.
Best to check the city demand screen, if there are passangeres present and don't use the train, they don't like the route (to long). or the trains are simply to crowded. Even when full they sometimes a green in the overlay.
If there are more passangeres than fit the train, the train seems to have some strange habits which ones the take along.

I just finished this task with no problems. When you say Santa Fe won't send any, do you mean you have an empty train running from Santa Fe to Anita??

It would help to have a little more info so we can troubleshoot :)

Also, don't send any passengers to Anita from other locations, at least until you finish this task.

Another reason why passengers wouldn't take a route is if there is a competing route that is more than 25% shorter than yours (say, if an AI competitor and you both connected the same towns, and your connection happens to be more complicated).

For eg: if the linear distance between santa fe and anita is 100kms and you build a track of 200 kms, passengers wont travel, as the travelling distance is more than twice the linear distance.

I too don't get any passenger from Santa Fe.

You can't really "brute force" it since you have 2 very high mountains to go through. The scenario even hints to use a winding road by letting you know that the tracks don't need to be expensive. So I just did that and winded a path up to the top.

But besides that, that scenario seems buggy as the goods are not picked from warehouses and then all of a sudden they get picked.

Ok I've succeeded in doing a stupid multiple 'S' from top to bottom (since I didn't enough cash for a straight bridge.
