Is this game still scenario or had sandbox?

It's been long while, I recalled Railway Empire 1 is more of scenario with time limited, there was no sandbox with unlimited time, Do this game similar to old one, and do not had sandbox with unlimited time? Only Scenario type?

There is "Custom Game" and "Sandbox". Sandbox is unlimited and custom plays similar to scenario with some goals but does not tie you to them. You also have game play settings you can pick if you wish to alter the way it plays.

You are not forced to stop playing when you get to 1930 in both. But there are no more additions to game play.

There are both in this game.

Campaigns and scenarios with time limited objectives, and custom and sandbox games as above.

Do note the game only has a very limited amount of maps that cannot be altered in any way, and no map generator or editor available, so your sandbox experience may be limited due to that.

Hmm, that would be nice game do had map generator or editor, that would help long term gameplay replay values.
