A screenshot would be helpful.

From the latest update 1.1 notes:- "Added some hints and warnings if goods are not picked up from warehouses due to insufficient trains."

F12 or your screenshot shortcut key, then go to the Library, to the game, and then Screenshot Manager on the right side. Upload the screenshot, go to your profile page and then Screenshots, and copy and paste the link here.
When I go to the Goods Supply and Demand screen It shows all the items the town wants/needs ( Corn, Beef, Wheat)
Under the "Current supply by train" some items have a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it next to an item.
Keep getting error messages when I try and upload a screenshot

The yellow triangle with the exclamation mark indicates that the goods have been allocated for delivery but have been waiting to be loaded onto a train for a lengthy period. (Not sure of exact time.)
Check all your warehouses. Click on the goods and you will see how many for each destination and how long the goods have been waiting for delivery.
You probably need more trains to deliver from the warehouse to the destination. And maybe prioritise the goods that are not being delivered?

Frustrating thing I've noticed: there are two cities I put a station in to compete with an AI competitor, and neither city can grow because they're waiting on basic supplies like grain that are yellow-triangle-stuck at an AI station. But the cities won't take the grain from me, apparently because the demand logic thinks the grain is enroute... this situation has gone on for hundreds of weeks.
