Where did Free Mode go?
Sandbox is _too_ watered down. No competitors. Unlimited money. Meh. Campaign and Custom have too many features that I don't want. Free Mode in RE, was, as Goldilocks would say, "Just right". The player got to alter or turn off all those features they didn't like. But now in RE2.... where is it?

It is now "Custom". You have a few more options to play with. For the moment I'm playing without the tasklist.

How do you play without the tasklist? When I put custom I thought I had to choose the task/quests and I feel they get in the way of what I actually want to do.

It's in the setup before you start the game. There are a variety of options (starting cash, number of opponents, etc....) I believe it is after you choose a company head.
