Railway Empire 2
Why is the UK map so barren?
I was looking forward to RE2, but the UK map has substantially fewer cities compared to RE1. For example, in Scotland, the towns of Ayr, Dumfries, Dundee and Inverness have been dropped, and more in England. There also seems to be fewer farms etc. It's a shame, as the game itself is looking good!

That was one of the things that struck me. Compared to RE1 Britain feels desolate. I think it may be due to the fact that it is a consistent scale map sectioned off whereas in RE1 they were tailor made maps with varying scales.
Its very disappointing
I agree and I noticed there was no coal mines in the North of England, very strange
Most likely because it isn't a seperate map, but a part of the European map.
So because of the scaling they had to remove cities.

Thorin :)
The map of Germany is also 10 cities smaller than RE1. The developers have made it as easy as possible for themselves, and you can see that in the game everywhere.
Yeah, a lot of potential missed :-(
