Rural stations not loading goods.
I'm having issues where rural stations are not loading goods, or loading very slowly, even when the business shows full supply. So for example a sugar farm shows storage at 14/14, but my train will just leave the station empty. If I set it to have a minimum wagon amount, it takes weeks to reach that. Anyone else have this problem? It only happens on some of them.

What matters here is the demand. Either direct or thru warehouses.

I have the same problem.
There is a demand - the city needs sugar for production.
Direct train from the sugar farm to the city.
Walks empty, does not load.

Saw several letsplayers with the same problem.

check if the game has already ordered the resources from some far away place.
if you e.g. have a warehouse somewhere and any train (mixed or freight) which runs to the city, the game may have ordered it from there.
game currently ignores distance and time it needs to transport, when deciding where to get the goods from.

The city demand is probably too low. I set rural trains to 8 wagons minimum so they only leave when full. You don’t want these trains running around with part loads.

However, this can sometimes mean it can take weeks to fill.
It’s not a bug.

With early Engines, particularly for Freight Trains, I limit my Trains to at most 4 or 5 cars.

I even limit my Express Trains to 4 or 5 Cars because I want to move fast on dedicated Express double tracks,

with Freight Trains on separate double tracks. Once I have enough cash to build the separate double tracks.

Those Early Engines can just not provide enough pulling power at any reasonable speed, particularly on steep grades.

The demand increases as your population grows. A demand of .2 is not going to require repeated full trains in a short period of time. As Dray said, reduce the min car requirement to about 4 if you haven't already, then the train will wait at the station until the city needs 4 cars of sugar.

Focus on bringing in the other goods the city wants - especially anything that is at zero - and the population will start growing when you are fulfilling 60% or more of the cities needs.

At that point, you can change your min cars to higher if you want, or the train will just make more trips. You have to keep tweaking things as you play.

This is a bug, in the first scenario I have a train waiting for 4 weeks to deliver fruit to Boston, while Boston Destilery is iddle because of lack of fruit. Had the same thing happen to fabrics and many other goods.

Seeing the same. It started happening to multiple stations all of the sudden. Does look like a bug. I'm playing the first scenario.

I had this behavior start after I bought the rural industry. My trains were loading the good properly up to when I purchased the dairy farm and upgraded it. Immediately after it's purchase and upgrade it started loading 1 good every 4 days or so, even though the good was in demand from the destination city.

Any chance people seeing this problem also had purchased the rural industry?

This bug happens after you upgrade an industry.

this bug is making the game unplayable roughly 50% of my rural statons are not loading goods or if they do its 1 at a time and im constantly losing money becaus of this and citys start to decline in population

Yeah, I may put this on hold. I actually never played the DLC for the first one, so maybe I'll go back to that. I wish the devs would state which issues are acknowledged as bugs.

I don't know if this started happening the first time I bought and upgraded an industry or if it was a combination of things that caused it. It was pretty late in the first scenario when I noticed it.
