I don't buy games from Kaylpso they are an atrocious publisher, their games are never tested properly. And now releasing game manuals at extra cost. Shocking what Kalypso try to get away with. Avoid these idiots.

i don't understand why ppl are so up in arms over a few tiny, miniscule mistakes, no wonder devs prefer discord for community management

yeah, i recommend using discord, toxicity is far rarer because it allows better moderation, so the trolls actually have to face consequences etc.

I tried discord. Mostly, in another post you said some .... rather.... shall we say .....things. Most discord had a lot of bug talk and some basic questions and it seemed most ppl were on xbox. Seems most ppl here are on computer. Don't know the differences.

But on discord there were basic questions so it seemed that most ppl didn't have any experience with RE1 -- so, obviously, how could they complain (if that word suits you) about the ppl on Steam (if they took a look) "knocking" the game?

You view of what is toxic is different to mine. A legitimate concern has been expressed over the publisher based on previous games. That's not being toxic.

And here we are with the publisher now charging for digital manuals where any other publisher would release this stuff free. Am I being unfair? I dont think so.

Kalypso are not a great publisher. They are on my banned list and its not a long list. Kalypso and Ubisoft. I am within my rights to express my view on a public forum.

But I do give them some merit that they have allowed this and not taken it off. Some other publishers I know would not be so accommodating, Paradox, Kunos and Eagle Dynamics for example. They arent on my banned list but they are fairly close but they do produce decent games.

Ok Nats, here's my thing... if you have banned Kalypso, why are you even here? Just to bash their game - THAT is being toxic. You haven't played it, so you can't really have an opinion.

Your opinion is that Kalypso is not a great publisher. You are entitled to that opinion. My opinion is that I enjoy many of their games. I am entitled to that opinion.

Also, AGAIN... the guides are just extra content that you don't even NEED to play the game.

This is such a weird hill to die on, imo.

And for an extra £10 you can get five extra skins and the soundtrack. Wow cheers Kalypso that's such a great deal. Although these publishers aren't the only ones releasing crap as a Deluxe version. I cant believe anyone actually buys this stuff though.

And no actually it is not my loss. I could play this game today via Gamepass for nothing but I choose not to. Because I know for sure it is going to be crap, and I can't even be bothered to wait for the download.

Well, the DLCs are actually just high quality PDFs of the exact same stuff thats already ingame so... not really important

And no, Game is not Crap
