Going to pass....Multiplayer in the same company? Why?

Was really excited, then the multiplayer....everyone is in the same company. What's the point?

Point is co operation. Play on a large map and you each handle a zone, for instance one handles the west coast, one handles the east coast, etc.

I agree, I was hoping for 4 player verses to see how who comes out on top

Yeah. Co-op. You COULD co-op as two different companies, or compete as two different companies too. So there aren't problems laying your own track, or building things.

So...not good enough. Completely lazy, total remake of the same game

I was mostly excited for the multiplayer aspect. Then, when we both got the game, we were disappointed to learn the multiplayer feature is botched to hell.

We can't lay tracks at the same time. The friend cannot do so many things like bidding, changing rail line names, etc.

We also can't appoint each other to expand different areas since any train station must immediately be connected. So building our own ways is also a huge hassle.
