Upgrading Trains

So when ever i researched a new locomotive i need to upgarde all lines individual, is there a better way to do it all at once?

Yeah, if you are in the Engine shed, go to the new train, and in the upper right corner there is a train icon that says replace engines. You will get a box that lets you select your options for replacing.
