Great Plains Campaign - Denver not growing
In this mission, you have to deliver X amount of Product Y to Denver - but demand only starts when it reaches a certain population. Well, Denver isn't growing because it needs some core items - but Denver shows PLENTY on incoming trains, but this # never changes.

Maybe it's the competitors trains, but they NEVER arrive. I tried sending these needs direct (via automatic or manual) and loads of the needed good never happen.

Build an immigration building in the city.
Create your own supply trains from a warehouse hub.

Sounds like the warehouse bug . Try turning off items in all warehouses , then wait awhile and turn them back on . Or just skip warehouses altogether . And I do mean all the warehouses .

I have an immigration office, but with more product "scheduled to arrive" than demand, it refuses to pick up the corn and wheat from nearby locations - even if I use manual method. (I tried a warehouse to Denver too, no product would move)

It's possible this was triggered when I did a major re-organization of all my rail lines. I deleted most of the lines and rebuilt them in a more organized way - I wonder if Denver is still expecting the loads that were scheduled to be delivered but wiped out....

Update: I reloaded back before I re-organized my rail lines and that appears to have been the cause of the issue. Denver started taking loads as expected.

You mean the trains show up in station then leave before unloading?

If that is the case then I know the problem and the fix, If you place a way point on your line after the drop off the train tends to skip the unloading and go to the way point.

Basically I was placing too many way points to make sure the train stayed on the route I wanted. So it ended up confusing the AI and the AI kept forgetting to unload.

I reported it the other day.

Another issue could be missing grid irons. Platforms stop being so buggy when you have a grid iron on both sides of a platform.

They were ghost trains expected in Denver, so it showed there was incoming trains with stuff, so it wouldn't let me drop more off (therefore wouldn't let me pick up).

What about scrapping the warehouse and building another?

There was no warehouse involved.

I have found that when doing a major reorganisation of tracks it is a good idea to delete all rail lines (as opposed to tracks) that may be impacted before reorganising the tracks. This ensures any goods trains are delivering are returned to the source and you don't end up with "Ghost trains".
