Personally it would become cumbersome to me and make me lose interest lol.
Yeah, I tried that, but it is too specific, like 1 grain, 1 beer, 1 wood etc....
and then they have an ALL CARGO option.
What I was looking to do is be able to set it to take as many grain and logs as you can. not jsut 4 of each, and if you can't get those, then do any other freight. The all cargo ended up putting mail and passengers on my freight line.
I was specifically trying to get logs and grain to move before other good but in ONE direction, so when I used all cargo in the other direction, I ended up with that mail and passangers on that freght line.
Seems easy fix, add option in addition to all cargo of all freight, or all express.
And then maybe if you select one of each thing you want to move, have a check box. Take as many as possible or only specified amount. so if I have it set to ONE LOGS, and checfk box take as many, it will FILL it if it needs to with logs. Again, probably me being to controlling!!! LOL
This is possible by using the Priority system. When you edit the rail line, click the station you want to prioritize logs and grain, and click them so they'll get the green arrow. This will make it pick up logs and grain before any other cargo/express goods.
You can also forbid it from picking up a type of cargo by clicking it again (red symbol).
This type of managemnet is handy if you want to create a direct line between two cities. For example to provide cloth to a city producing clothing. Prioritize cloth. It will then pick up all cloth which is required (and available), and then fill the rest of the slots with whatever there's left.
Ok, I thought you could only select one as priority. unless I am cliking it incorrectly, and I did not realize you could forbid. This is perfect if I can go back in and try it out. Thanks so much!!
