plus there's the game pass by the month ($10 US) if you want to just try it
Also im more concerned about the bad reviews, i have 400 hours on the original, its a really relaxing game that is close to my heart, id love to see it thrive and have more fans, and it hurts to see so many bad reviews, based on the price.
I get ya. I have 600+ hours in RE1, and a lot of the negative reviews for RE2 are from people who just don't seem to have the patience for the learning curve. There are some different mechanics in this version. There's some changes I like, and some I don't like as much, but overall, as a fan of the first one, I am really enjoying the 2nd one as well.
I'm not saying there aren't any issues. But hopefully with the mass amounts of feedback the devs are getting, they will make a few tweaks as we go on.
Do I think the game is worth $50. I'm on the fence about that. I know we'll see DLC in the future, so a lower price point on the main game would have been nice.
Just try to order some food and you will know what I mean.
Unless they take it out of game pass, you can play it as long as you subscribe (not limited to one month). And at 1/2 price on CD Keys, it's a steal.
