Hurry up and drop the price
Cmon guys, this is one of the craziest prices ive seen.
Im a huge fan of the original and have watched this since early development, but this price is just silly, and its hurting your review score, and first impressions last.

If you don’t like the price there’s always game pass.

It seems the game is a succes. Lower prices will consequently show up later. You could buy RE1 on a sale sooner and maybe for a very low price, buy it and play it (it's also a good game with a lot of content)) and step over to RE2 later when it goes on sale. On 'steamdb' you can get info on the prices during previous sales.

Thanks for the tips guys, ill check those out, sound like good deals.

Also im more concerned about the bad reviews, i have 400 hours on the original, its a really relaxing game that is close to my heart, id love to see it thrive and have more fans, and it hurts to see so many bad reviews, based on the price.

it's on gamepass, 50 bucks on steam,, even 30 with a key, still too much. chances of me playing this game for longer than a month are pretty low anyway

I get ya. I have 600+ hours in RE1, and a lot of the negative reviews for RE2 are from people who just don't seem to have the patience for the learning curve. There are some different mechanics in this version. There's some changes I like, and some I don't like as much, but overall, as a fan of the first one, I am really enjoying the 2nd one as well.

I'm not saying there aren't any issues. But hopefully with the mass amounts of feedback the devs are getting, they will make a few tweaks as we go on.

Do I think the game is worth $50. I'm on the fence about that. I know we'll see DLC in the future, so a lower price point on the main game would have been nice.

There is this strange thing going on for almost a year now, its called inflation.
Just try to order some food and you will know what I mean.

Funnily enough, people who do not buy for such prices are actually slowing down the inflation.

I could not have said it better.

Unless they take it out of game pass, you can play it as long as you subscribe (not limited to one month). And at 1/2 price on CD Keys, it's a steal.

only 35% off on CD keys now, $36.19 US. Inflation strikes fast. Sill 25% of list, but I'll wait I think until at least some bugs are fixed and a new update is announced.

Damn, that was fast. It was cheaper when I looked on CD Keys.
Jenska Jun 1, 2023 @ 11:22am
Yeah, well I'll keep waiting, I don't want to be frustrated by all these little problems that should be fixed relatively soon :) I hope
Eevilflamee Jun 2, 2023 @ 7:49am
Not inflation really its steams 30% fee of take on the price of each game thats why other places like cd keys is cheaper mostly
