Dark Times...indeed, give me an emission...

I appear to be stuck.

I've reached the Hunter's Camp in the Burnt Forest region and am supposed to be finding out information about the elusive Doctor. There are two NPC's there, but the first is just staring at a corpse and tells me to buzz off, whilst the other is upstairs and busily staring at the wall.

I've explored the immediate vicinity and found nothing else of interest bar a stash up the tower and some supplies in the small camp area opposite the main building, so no idea how to resolve this now.

I've googled it and there appears to be a bug that suggests an emission will free the stuck NPCs (which is apparently scripted for when you first arrive at this location) so I've both loaded an earlier save after collecting another dog collar and also just left the game running with me stood outside the HC building but nothing doing.

Is this the end of my Stalker experience for now?

Just grind for a bit and wait for an emission. Or use external tools.

Well, I became Master of the Arena but no emission during that side quest so still can't trigger the quest after hiking back to the hunter's camp...

Did some exploring and that provided the necessary emission, which then triggered the quests...
