Can't find Horn artifact :(

I've reached the no return point in Pripyat, but I am still missing the last artefact for my collection - The Horn.

Let me know if there is a single anomaly in the Zone where you did get Horn by yourself.

I can't use both of the spawn spots at Garbage region and swamp near Dolg base at Cement factory as I already got the arts from there and there are no Blowouts in my game anymore. Tried to sleep about 15 times in a row but it doesn't seem to reset the couner and spawn the new arts.

I did about 100 tries of save/load each in two acid anomalies - Zaton (top right corner, where the scanner is) and Chemical Factory (near the Bloodsucker's village) and got every other arttefact, including common (weak), but not the Horn.

I've checked all the cites, where random art can be found near dead body - unfortunatelly, there were no Horn too.

Please help :)

Some of the artifacts are- in scanners or laying around on dead Stalkers or there are PSI anomaly spots where i get unique ones.

Yes, but I already checked all the scanners and all the dead bodies. Still no Horn :(

Unfortunately "rare" class artifacts (36k value) appear to have the lowest chances of spawning, actually lower than "legendary" class (70k) ones.

hold up, are you telling me there is a way to progress through this game incorrectly? like, your saying that there is a certain area that can only be accessed a certain way (am i understanding this right) and to get there you have to use a certain item, of which there are finite? thats both harsh and very cool

And PSI loc? Where u have to collect like 50 artifacts till u get the real one?
There are 3 loc like that afaik, maybe more. One of them for flower bud, soul and then 1 more...
Also different playthroughs seem to have different artifact spawn rates, so this save scumming might have been wasted time...

There are currently some progression lock points, but that's due to bugs and mostly related to key NPCs not appearing where they're supposed to.

If you're wondering if you can accidentally lock yourself out of important areas / story parts by getting rid of crucial items that you're supposed to need later, then no, AFAIK that's not a thing (or if it can happen, it's so rare that it doesn't even get mentioned in this forum).

The exact opposite is a widespread issue, meaning formerly quest related items that stay marked as essential in your inventory forever, so you can't get rid of them.

You certainly can and will do things that can lock you out of some areas and quests, but that is supposed to happen when you choose a story branch that unavoidably leads to you siding with someone against someone else.

Also, some side quests can technically be completed by killing NPCs, but talking to them instead may reveal further branches of the quest, leading to a different outcome and possibly a better reward.

In my experience, in example, I've been cleaning out aajor bandits camp while exploring, and only much later I learnt that I could probably have been able to talk with their leader as a possible way to complete a main quest. Bummer, but not a game stopper; I did said quest in another way.

I did not tried the PSI areas, but I am afraid that it will take whole life to get a Horn there. If this PSI-thing can generate any of 60+ artifact then the probability to get Horn is quite low there compared to a dedicated acid anomaly with limited pool of the arts.

I will give a try for PSI-anomaly on my cirrent save, but looks I have to roll back to a time, when my Garbage acid field still had the art inside and it may be a Horn (as I've seen at least one report that Horn was taken out of it).

You must do what all of us had to do to find their final missing artifact. Northeast of Rostok is the Poisonous Hole, full of acidic anomalies. Save 100 meters afar from it, then walk to it and find the artifact. If it is no Horn - reload and try again.

Ok, it was simple :) I've loaded an "old" save (from yesterday LOL), where I still need to find 7 artefacts to get a full collection and a trophy. But the Poisonous Hole (Garbage, left top corner) at that time still had an art in it. So this is how I got a Horn from it and it took me only 3 tries to load the save. From this point I still have 6 more arts to find to have a full collection... But because I already had them all in my "parallel" save before, I just got a trophy right after picking up the Horn!

A wonderful discovery, as I'm in the same situation looking for a snowflake. Have some points.
