Game doesn't save anymore.

After X5 my game doesn't allow me to save anymore. Autosaves or manual saves doesn't work. Manual button is grayed out and autosaves just send me pop-up about that the game couldn't be saved right now.

Found fix and cause:
Heavy spoilers:
When you enter X5 you will have scripted scene with mind controller mutant. My last save was botched and this script haven't started. I think game thought that this mutant is alive and i can't save because of that. I had to restart from earlier point to trigger the scene.

I have the solution. Just power through the quest and complete it.
When done it wipes the script causing the problem.

Load the save game that was before you used the card on the door lock. If you are using invisibility cheats, disable that cheat. Go to X5, there should be a short cutscene with a mutant mind controller. AFTER the cutscene is over, you will be able to save your game again.

Thanks man - I was worried of carrying on and loosing more gametime but when I saw your comment I just pushed trough and the bug reset itself!

How far do I have to go for saving to work? I have the same problem and it still doesn't work for me.
