Richter is dead/de-spawned/doesn't exist, disappeared, no longer in the game

Ever since mission 8 or maybe 6? where you have to meet Richter in the bar, he was not there, his character wouldn't show up or appear in the bar or at that spot, so i had to use commands to skip mission that mission and progress naturally.

The only time i used a kill command was in Lodochka's during a main mission and he started attacking me but i couldn't shoot or hit back for some reason, that's only time i had to use it to be able complete optional objective since apparently at time it can bug you out later or something.

Eventually i reach the mission "The Boundary" where after fighting the monolith horde, you must speak to the lone stalker on the water tower, biggest issue is, Richter no longer Exists in my game and i don't know what happened to him, i don't know where Richter is, what happened to him, why i can't talk to him, and if anyone else is having this issue.

I have tried googling this issue, looking at nexusmods UETool page to see fixes, tried experimenting with different commands (this is my first time modding and using command tools in a game), to find nothing works, for fixing this mission or being able to progress.

the only thing i could do is the following:

XDKFinishQuest E12_MQ01 true

XStartQuest E14_MQ01

For me to be able to progress, i also had to sue Ghost and god mode to be able to get to next objective, but i don't know how viable doing this is and i had to skip quite a lot to do this, i will update if i am able to reach an ending but i'm not sure how this will effect the game.

If there's anyone more experienced then me, or can help me find a better solution please let me know, or if anyone else is having similar issues please share.

So skipping the mission doesn't remove the trigger in Yaniv to talk to the leader of the base, and if you talk to him the monolith horde will spawn, so you can go revisit parts of the mission based on what i'm seeing if you skip.

However if you decide to do the monolith attack, the guide will disappear and will not re spawn again, meaning you lose fast travel, and have to reload a previous save sadly.

i am able to still progress the game fortunately doing what i have shared and it hasn't effected the game play and progression.

hoping maybe a patch will come soon to prevent Richter from disappearing or dying.

Jeppp, I have the same issue. No idea why he ceased to exist. I also had to start the missions manually via the console since the middle of the story.

UGH I really dont want to skip any quests in this game but this is the only game breaking bug so far do you think they will fix or should I just do what you did?

So basically to update once i skipped to mission 14 the beyonder, i kill all the guys, try talking to the leader and no mission quest appears, it ♥♥♥♥♥ up the game and mission 12 is carrying on in backgroubd despite ending quest via commands, meaning it will trigger markers and updates in journal, also mission 14 markers will keep randomly soawning in and reactivating quest objectives, it completely breaks the game and prevents progress, so you cant skip to pripyat or do the mission sadly, need wait for patch.

I have the same problem. Richter didn't spawn at Rostok and Yaniv. I skipped the quest and started the next one. I went to Pripyat, where I needed to talk to Degtyarov and Richter. But when I arrived, Richter disappeared again, and I couldn't proceed with the quest because Degtyarov wouldn't talk to me without Richter. The only solution is skipping the current quest and starting the next one via the console.
