Can not jump to the other side in order to turn off the psi beacon. any ideas ?

You mean IN the curch ?
Try further back inside the curch, there are floorboards that can be destroyed. Through there you´ll get underground, into a small tunnel that leads behind the wooden barriers. Here you just do another jump&run section to reach the roof.

I have done all that,,,,the point is that the 'jump&run" I can not reach the other side....i have tried over 20 times.

Loose some weight

You only have to jump across 2 shelves iirc, the rest is just a walk. Up the roof and back in again on the upper floor, there is no jump there unless you maybe have shot down all the boards already :)
If you are unable to do the jump, make sure your energy level is high and you have a low weight. It might work.
