Check your antivirus, remove compatibility flags from executables, etc. and verify game files in Steam.
Library > right click STALKER2 game > Properties > click Verify and allow this to finish.,
Set both STALKER game EXE to:
> Disable Full Screen Optimization
> Run As Admin
If you have 2 GPUs, go in to WinOS Graphics Settings, add both STALKER EXE files to the list and change each Options to High Performance GPU.
If you had ran this game before, dump all your GPU Shader Cache from these locations:
> %LocalAppData% > AMD or NVIDIA folder
> %LocalAppData% > STALKER2 > just the shadercache file there.
If NVIDIA GPU, set these in NVCP:
> Power = Prefer Max Performance
Shader Cache = Unlimited
If have not already, disable these in Windows Defender:
> Core Isolation
> Controlled Folders
Might help to add /Steam and /SteamLibrary to the anti-virus Exclusions listing to avoid needless real-time scanning of such folders, which can slow down game loading, or even cause in-game stutters.
