DO NOT DO Quiet's "Light at The End of The Tunnel" Quest

Saves after entering the facility are bugged, and will not load. As far as I can tell, you can get the code and be fine, but using it to open the door breaks the save and every save after it. I've already submitted a bug report with the suspect saves.

My game froze at the staircase going down, took about 2 minutes to unfreeze and was able to play and continue as normal.

We are not talking about the stutter/freeze when going down the staircase into the tunnels, but after finishing the quest the game will crash anytime you try to load any savefile past that point.

Same thing happened to me. All saves auto, and manual, have been rendered unplayable after completion of the quest. I managed to load a save before taking the quest, it took 30 minutes of loading about 12-15 different autosaves/manual saves, crashing after each failed attempt. Then finally finding one before the quest completion. Hope this helps anyone until the developers fix it.

I'm playing on PC and I've done the quest three times and I've had no problems

Since most of you must have finished this quest, have you seen Quiet turn into a zombie yet? I mean, I might remember something about it from playing the first First S.T.A.L.K.E.R games, but I don't really want him to do that. I hope telling him to not trust Sidowich is enough to not make that happen, but still. Sidowich did get the PSI installation...
