Missing Preorder DLC

I prepurchased the standard edition but later bought the ultimate edition and refunded the original purchase.
However in refunding the initial purchase I have lost the preorder DLC which made me loose access to my saves since there is now a DLC missmatch. I have already submitted a ticked on the GSC website several days ago but have yet to receive a reply.

I Pre Ordered as well and I'm 6 hours in and have yet to see the pre order items that were promised.

You have to find the stashes.

The DLC items, including pre-order bonuses and deluxe edition content, are locked behind the “Seek, and You Shall Find” side mission. To unlock this mission, you first need to complete the main mission called “A Needle in a Haystack” in Zalissya. Once you have unlocked the former, you will be able to locate the Journalist Stashes that are scattered throughout the map.

they are in the journalist stashes.

pre-order (regular) has no stashes in starting zone. Try progressing to garbage zone for the garbage zone journalist stash.
