Rats?

Has anyone gone down the hole where there is an unmarked stash but the only way out the hole is via a tunnel where you are attacked by a swarm of rats and to escape them is to climb a ladder?

Trouble is the rats follow you everywhere and kill you if they catch you. They will even follow you into stalker camp. How do I get rid of the rats following me or is it a bug?

use grenade in close proximity to pack ill manage wipe them with 2.

Send them a grenade or two. If I'm not mistaken, you should have them inside the stash.

Throw nade at your feet and sprint the hell away. Watch the rats eat shrapnel for dinner.

It's definitely a bug. As what p00se2 said, they shouldn't have been able to get out.

Kind of sussed it now. I went to bed to recooperate my health. When I woke up the bar at top of screen still showed red but when I stood amongst them they didn't damage me. When I left the building the bar at the top changed to normal

Be careful because they respawn, the trigger is going into the room with the stash.

I did not even have to kill them; just grabbed the stash; then run and go up the ladder to get out. Once you are on surface, if you want toss a grenade down there, make it bounce so it drops straight down onto the rat pack.

I found an acheivement list with RAT and Rodent listed seperatly, am i dumb or is the list wrong?

Rodents are the jumpy rats, rats are the swarms that come after you, 2 seperate enemies
