Is it crashing ?
Is your laptop plugged in power socket (i.e. is the battery recharging) ?
Is Power Plan set to High performance ?
Did you try to remove %LOCALAPPDATA%\Stalker2 files just in case it got corrupted somehow ?
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED means the D3D device (the user mode driver, or the GPU itself) got removed from the engine, probably because it crashed.
This can be triggered by any number of things such as unstable core clock, unstable power delivery, but also driver level features such as DLSS, FSR, etc.
My friend is having unrelated/related issue with the screen tearing horribly, it's not even tearing its like up scaling and down scaling randomly. Something is wrong with the build of the game and the way it's detecting our drivers.
This isn't the only UE5 game with this issue either, Project: Borealis also had crash on launch issue when it first released. Their build of the game had a basic version of Vulkan implemented so the temporary fix was to use a vulkan launch option to actually open the game. They also recommended a power plan launch option.
My solution? Wait for a patch, see what happens. Refund if you never get to experience the game.
