STALKER 2 Back to Slag Heap, stuck in sawmill bug.
I can't progress this quest, I've tried reloading saves, restarting and everything, there's no radio comms when I arrive at the Sawmill and I just get teleported inside the Sawmill without Scar being there and then I can't get out... Please tell me anyone has a solution to this bug?

I've got the same issue. The game teleports me into the sawmill and no sign of the NPC that I need to meet (Scar), but there are about 6 other NPCs.

I managed to fix it by downloading UETools console from nexusmods then reloaded a save at the base in garbage, stood outside the door to the base and ran the command "XDKFinishQuest E03_MQ06 true" then made sure it appeared in completed quests then I ran the command "XStartQuest E03_MQ06" to manually restart the quest, went to the technician then up to the colonel then spoke to richter and finally back to Sawmill and everything worked, hopefully this helps guys! (Remove " " from the console commands)

Sadly, that didn't seem to work. The guy that was in Diode's office the first time wasn't there after using those commands, and neither was the colonel and suit guy on the second floor.

Edit - Richter was there, but the other parts of the mission were still there and it didn't give the Go to the Sawmill marker.

Edit 2 - did it 4 or 5 times (the last time after completing and starting the mission, I immediately ran into the heap and talked with Diode before he disappeared), and finally got the colonel and the suit dude to spawn in on the second floor. I think it still may be bugged out, because even after going through that cutscene, it still shows that I need to meet Diode. Aha! Just had to manually head to the Sawmill and the radio came alive with Scar telling his guys to let me in, and it worked! Heading to the noontide base now.

Yeah I forgot to mention the quest Nodes (the orange markers on map and compass) will be bugged! they were bugged for me aswell, I had like 3-4 nodes showing me objectives to do which still worked, never even got a node to go to the sawmill after talking to richter but it still worked as intended! So by manually restarting it, yes the nodes will be bugged but the quest should work!

I'm having the same issue, and unfortunately none of these fixes worked for me. I speak to the colonel & the scientist but when I go to leave the slag heap Richter never appears. Tried reloading a previous save, tried the mission fix described, sadly nothing works. Main quest totally broken.

You go to the technician which isn't there a soldier is there, then you talk to the colonel and dr upstairs and when you head down richter should be INSIDE the base telling you he wants to talk to you, is he not there?

I seem to have fixed it on my side. After trying everything listed above, I still had the same issue with being teleported into the sawmill with no cut scene with Scar. If you're having this issue, let the game teleport you inside and then manually spawn Scar with "XTeleportNPCToPlayer Scar" and it will initiate the cut scene to progress the quest. Hope this helps anyone needing it.

Appreciate the suggestion but sadly this didn't work for me. I tried the teleport command and nothing happened, as if Scar or Richter were dead or had failed to spawn.

Going to start the campaign again to see if that fixes it.

Starting again fixed the problem with the Back to the Slag Heap mission for me. Bit painful to have to start again after 20+ hours but at least it's fixed now.
