Game crashin after loading save

Just like in title, everything worked perfectly for 8h of my gameplay, came back from work, tried to load different saves and each ones caused my game to crash.

anyone encountered that?

Try turning off FSR3 frame generation in the graphics options. Other than that, I got nothing.

Same issue here, tried a LOT of stuff. Access Violation error at times, other times it just freezes with no recourse.

If you have an older save, rollback to it. Sucks that you lost some progress, but it did helped.

Please guys send a report to devs at support.stalker2.com . If you are several people to have this problem, I suppose it will be easier for them to find what's wrong and fix it. Thanks !

All SAVES are affected. Even the first save I did outside of the Old Mill. Like it just fails to render the scene and just locks up. New game also has the same issue on loading.

Like I just dont understand how a game works perfectly fine for ~10hrs of gameplay, and then just refuses to even load. No combination of settings or anything affects this outside of attempting to mod the game files for change FSR modes or Engine.ini where it switches between a freeze and a crash. Even happening on a total fresh reinstall after clearing all game files.

Found a Fix, Update Windows to the latest. You want the Nov 11 cumulative and .NET security updates. After that it started working again. I had to load a much older save like 2hrs ago but it worked.

Having the same issue now. Game worked relatively fine on medium settings for 17 hours of gameplay. A few crashes every 4 or 5 hours but no sweat. I'm playing on a high-end laptop so I wasn't expecting perfect performance. Crashed a few minutes ago and every save I try to load crashes the game.

Hey just wanted to check, but that older save you loaded; was that before you finished a side-quest for Quiet?

I've been hearing talk about that side-quest, the one with the psi-emitter, is causing saved games to brick. I'm currently running into the exact same error, and that side-quest is pretty much the only thing I've finished.

this might be it, i finished that quest took a save and bam next day wont load anymore

OMFG i have similar issue, I can't load any of my older saves. Im just gonna be salty and stop playing the game for now and wait for Major patches. Lost 30 hours ♥♥♥♥, I even got lucky and looted a legendary artifact

What you heard must have some weight. Did this quest just last night. Loaded a save from before I even accepted the quest and it loaded me right in. Lost 'bout 4 hours progress but I'll take it. Thanks for sharing!
