Post SIRCAA, this game sucks!
I've had nothing but high-praise for this game and its atmosphere, that is until I got past SIRCAA.
I have nothing. No ammo, no meds, all of my equipment is broken, yet the game insists on throwing Monolith patrol after Monolith patrol at me, all equipped with high damage gear.
At this point, I'm entirely soft-locked and unable to leave Zalisya let alone even play the game in general without being hunted down.

Not to mention, the Zalisya quest itself is STILL BROKEN and extremely unbalanced. The first wave is no problem, despite getting 4-6 enemies spawned right on top of me multiple times. It's afterwards, as I got spammed with squad after squad trying to go kill Uncle Lyonya. And on top of all that? I'm being chased by two relentless bloodsuckers who are acting like I'm the only food they've seen in months. Additionally, the quest just never ends still. I'm left to either defend the town forever or leave and lose it to Monolith.
I'm just so unbelievably unprepared to deal with the amount of bs that's lazily thrown my way after such a combat-intensive quest.

As a long-time fan of the series, and a major fan of this STALKER 2 (before the SIRCAA questline,) I'm just left in utter astonishment on how this was even okayed before they released the game. It just feels broken and like I wasn't meant to get this far in the game. And honestly, had this game come out in Early Access and locked away everything SIRCAA onwards for future updates, I think I would've been okay with that.

I'm at a loss for how I should even progress at this point, maybe the best option is to just boot up anomaly and forget this game exists until this mess is sorted out.

This is an interesting phenomenon, and happens on this board constantly.....:

Too big of an ego to change the game to Easy difficulty.

Ego not big enough to prevent him from admitting on the forum that the game is too hard.

Such an easy solution.

You should be able to save Zalissya. I assume you have a save at Quiet's place after or before talking to Lodocka. Make a hard save at this point. Now, drop any equipment that my cause you to be encumbered, ie. not in green weight limit. Hopefully, you also have some water or energy drinks to help with stamina regeneration. Run from Quiet's place to Zalissya and do not stop to fight anything, there is a big fight in Eastern Checkpoint but you can run past them. I was followed by one monolithian all the way to Zalissya, this is good. Kill him inside the village. Get to the Ward barracks and hope for the best that the doors are unlocked. It took me 3 tries in patch 1.0.2 to get it working so unless 1.0.3 completely bricked the quest again you should be do it with a bit of luck.

SIRCAA absolutely represents a point in a game where things can go very wrong for many reasons.
The difficulty spike is really just temporary until you get to next main quest and potentially resolve Zalissya defense mission. The game get back to its normal state once you moved past that mission. Sure, enemies now have better weapons but there is not much of a difference in their damage output. This is good for you as those advanced weapons can be sold for more coupons at vendors.

Been doing this the whole game with my AK, actually upgraded it specifically so it'd be a better "DMR" than a full-auto.

You're in the mid game, and at the point the AKM becomes obsolescent, You need a gun with higher penetration to take on Monolithians, or start loading up on AP rounds for Skifs pistol (Anything but regular rounds strips the durability faster thana dancer gets undressed) to keep repair costs down.

the SIRCCA Mission is really long so I understand why you'd be low on stuff, I nabbed a gun off one of the SIRCCA dudes on my way out and was using that, can't remember if it was a Grom or Lavina but it did the trick.

Wait next 2 years til they finished the game, i cannot even play heavy aim there is so much latency worse than using ball mouse!!! And low fps stutters on top of that!

Trying to shove a square peg through a round hole and getting angry it will not fit.

Can this post go away.

Quest was bugged for me but I still managed to finish it. Had to coax out a load of monolith that spawned inside the house will all the NPC's and you couldn't shoot them.

I noticed that OP went there because he/she wanted to repair their gear. This may be just me but there was no tech guy to fix my stuff during or after the quest, so may be better to go to a different base for that.

another bug I encountered was that after the mission I stashed all the broken weapons to sell them in Rostok only to have my game crash every time I tried to load it because I had too many gins in my stash. Fortunately I had many saves in many different slots and this in always the number one rule. If I hadn't saved in so many slots, this bug would have bricked my entire play through.

For me this game after SIRCAA is just exhausting. SIRCAA quests were bugged for me and I had to close one quest with console. Most of the remaining quests after SIRCAA is to be going through waves and waves and waves of enemies in areas between Burnt Forest Chemical Plant and Malachite, so after quest you dont have any techie to repair your gear and have to go a few kilometers to base if you sided with Spark like me. Also later quests are in the areas where you have a lot of distance to travel, because guides cant take you there. So basically gameplay later on is about walking and masskilling spawning enemies, who are bullet sponges. And eventually doing some lame platform elements so you can go further. Plot and dialoges are nice, but walking around in the same areas to reach quests destinations can deplete will to play this game

M701 Super is much better though. On the other hand it's ammo is expensive as hell
