How to make "DUTY" Great again?

Hey everyone. Just finished the mission at the Duga, and now the story is leading me to Rostok to meet Richter. Inside the Bar, everyone’s talking about how Duty is back at war with Freedom. Same thing over at the Duty base—everyone’s saying the same stuff. But no matter what I do or who I talk to, I’m not seeing any side quests pop up.


So... does anyone know how to trigger the quest to bring Duty back to the Rostok base?Something like the Skadovsk and Shevchenko mission in Zaton?

There is no faction war anymore. Due to VARTA - when VARTA came to Zone, they made all major factions to sign the peace treaty - D4 - that either they sign or VARTA will wipe them out. All factions signed it and faction war died to almost zero.

Sure. Why every single NPC after Duga mission, when Varta fall, again,
EVERY SINGLE NPC is talking about Duty vs Freedom? And mostly Duty on their base. Still seeking

EVERY SINGLE NPC is talking about Duty vs Freedom? And mostly Duty on their base. Still seeking

There is also talk about how both Duty and Freedom use the bandit groups (Commisary and Brood) as proxies.

Put 2 and 2 together, when they talk about Freedom and Duty fighting, they are mostly talking about things heating up between those bandit groups.

I doubt we will see any more than the slightest skirmishes ( with both sides denying involvement), when it comes to Duty and Freedom, but with Nestor no longer mediating between the two bandit groups all the pieces are in place (particularly if you left their bases in Garbage alone) for the survivors of both bandit groups to have a fierce proxy war on Freedom and Duty's behalf over who gets to control Iron Forest if that were to get opened up.

They could also potentially open up a lot more interactions with said bandit groups in Garbage, if they were to dig into the whole proxy war between Duty and Freedom using those groups.

Interesting idea, but proxy bandits camps are all dead, same as Beard and Sultan, Malachit is gone and Loners have just Sidorovič left, VML is also in ruin... so...
not much more left then Duty and Freedom in my playthrue :D made sence they would try to expand their territory...

The treaty is gone after monolith attacks SIRCAA that's why you dont hear anything about duty or freedom fighting again until after that mission.

The proxy bandit camps are dead? based off what? When monolith started up again and attacked garbage the duty bandit group moved to the cordon.

The proxy bandit camps are dead? based off what? When monolith started up again and attacked garbage the duty bandit group moved to the cordon.

it all depends on your playthrough and choices you make during certain quests. In my 1st run I've wiped out all the bandits I met on my way including all 3 camps at garbage. On 2nd run I've killed only varan to get progress on the main mission faster. And was surprised to meet those bandit leftovers later in the game

yeah i was shocked that there was so much talk about zulu but hes not even in game
