End-Game Questions (Strelok Ending)

After having completed Strelok's ending and handed him control of the Zone, I reloaded my save and was placed back by the pods in the Generators. Exploring the small area I have no access to my weapons. I can place the Heart of Chernobyl into the center piece, and can turn on a power switch in the back. Other than that, I cant find anything else to interact with.

Am I missing something? Or is this unfinished content? I know that in STALKER games the end of the game is typically "closed book" with no further play left on that save, but it feels weird to have these interactions left in w/o a purpose for them.

You're supposed to reload a save from before the point of no return to continue playing.

Yeah I've done that and I get the Point of No Return prior to Down Below, but I'm more confused on what the extra interactions after the fact with the Heart and the power have to do with anything. It looks like there's much more to the level.

Nope. All there is. Maybe story DLC they announced.
