What are these random spots in the Zone where your screen has chromatic aberration effect?

There are spots in which if you stand, you hear noises as if a psi-effect is taking place and the screen gets a special effect. They're here and there since the beginning of the game, but I only started paying attention to them now.

EDIT: It's a "Time Machine" anomaly that was previously cut from the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game. In X-7 lab its matrix-style effect of slowing down bullets is very apparent!

As far as I can tell these are just another type of anomaly, at least for now.

Yeah I think it's an undetectable anomaly that does psi-damage, not 100% but my best guess

If they're what I think you're referring to, the anomaly that slows you down and has this loud wind sound effect, then they're harmless, mostly.

They make anything passing through them slow down, including bullets and throwables, as well as other NPCs and mutants

Theres that car by the lake south of rostok with it and i just killed a merc with a SVD in the old dark valley but right after i killed him i got psi effects and figured maybe a controller was below me? It spawned enemies who would shoot me then their bodies would melt yet when i jumped out ready to face my first controller there was nothing??

I thought the were psi spots because of the way you get blurred vision and you can kinda see a hot air effect just like in the psi fields in the trilogy
