There is no CNPP !?

I'm genuinely baffled. There is actually no explorable CNPP in Stalker 2 : Heart of Chornobyl.
How is that a thing? And how come nobody seems to be talking about it? This is not a small issue, this is a massive problem. Are they gonna sell us the CNPP is a future DLC? This is absolutely insane.

i think its there but no one actually progress in story to get there yet
also like other said we will have 2 DLC so it prob be there . older zones are in game so you can explore

CNPP is there but its entirely unfinished and surrounded by a wall of radioactive death. Bit of a shame, Woulda been a cool place to explore.

Would be cool to explore for sure, but the emphasis of the game really isn't the CNPP, as we learn early on the CNPP has been basically picked clean and there really isn't much there anymore.

Though maybe there's a quest about it as I haven't quite reached it , just got through the Duga segment.

well there is still the generators behind the plant where nobody has set foot yet exept for monolith so there is quiet a bit unexplored and in one of the older trailers you even see the charakter entering the cooling tower

Cooling towers are a place you can go rn, they're their own thing though it seems unless im misunderstanding you.

I've been to generators area, you can get there if you follow through entirely questline being loyal to Varta. It's just a brief time, but you are outside and can see them. As for the CNPP, the closest we get is the Red Fortress - the Monolith fortress in game finale (you can see it on the right side of the CNPP during scene when you talk to Richter on the top of the crane at the Slag Heap), depending which faction you sided with.

the 3 sections of the map covered in fog surrounding the CNPP are inaccessible and cause instant death via radiation.

Those 'hour-glass' shaped cooling towers? They look a lot like the towers at Three-Mile Island, right? Those towers that are away from the actual CNPP???

Watched a real life utub 'stalker' go to those towers, they are not part of the original CNPP, they would have been part of another reactor facility and were never finished. I could be wrong, somebody with more local knowledge can fill us all in maybe. But that is my understanding.

They were apart of CNPP and were supposed to be buildings that contained Reactor No. 5 and 6 but construction got canceled after the disaster at No.4. I am not entirely sure we are talking about the same thing here but as far as I can tell we are

Yes, talking about the same thing, another reactor facility started but never finished.
