On top of Red Fortress - can you get there ?

Has anyone scaled the red fortress ? Is is even possible ?
I can see a way to get there, there is a crane, but I do not know how to get to the crane :(

It is possible to get to the roof via the scaffolding, but there’s nothing there besides the crashed helicopter and a stash. Before patch 1.1 you could also climb other roofs there but I believe it was patched out. There was nothing there though (one had a radiation killswitch and the other had two cabins and a ward solider)
