3 Systems i got access to and build, and all 3 run fine now after Patch 1.2.1
All are AMD CPU/GPU though...
Depents on how for you are into the game...
I planed to start a new game (as i finished the storyline) but loaded my save just before the Point of No Return) and went back to test stuff, and now i am having to much fun with my heavy armor/weapons, and am just hunting loot and doing some side missions i had not completed.
Honest advice: Do what Nesmoth said—wait a few months, then start fresh. Trust me, this game gets super repetitive and exhausting. It tricks you into thinking there’s freedom to explore, but it’s actually super linear. You’ll just burn yourself out trying to pretend otherwise.
Exploring every nook and cranny for hidden stashes sounds fun at first… until you realize 99% of them just give you cans of sausages, bandages, medkits, energy drinks, or four bullets. It gets old fast.
I beat the game once, then restarted after the last patch (like you’re planning to). But guess what? Softlocked again in the main quest. Couldn’t progress. Tried to 100% everything like my first run, but nope—same grind, same loot, same burnout.
TL;DR: Don’t rush. Wait it out, let them fix this mess, then come back with mods to make it bearable. Save yourself the frustration.
Yeah, thats what i am afraid of, if i restart the game from the start that i might encounter a missing/non responsive storyline NPC.
On my first playtrough i did not experiance this because wen it started raining reports about it, i was wel passed Sircaa mission and all these isues where at point i already passed.
Didnt mind the gameplay and walking back and forward to much, but i did not like doing a lot of work to get to a Stash and it just had worthless loot in it, also looting dead bodies usualy give you the same useless junk and just a few bullets (makes you wonder what they where planning to do with so little ammo)
But wen you engage them alive they never ever seem to run out of ammo or grenades, just like the Burer picking up empty weapons that are sometimes completly broken, but he can fire them just fine...
^this is the typical degen answer
It's a 100% clean install with zero mods, been that way since day one.
Everyone who says they have issues should include "modded/not modded."
If you have mods, best to uninstall all of them before reporting alleged issues.
Agrea with that, sometimes people dont realize the problem is not the game but a mod they installed, especaily if they updated a game with Mods installed, this can ruin the install completly.
This still isn't a good Stalker game currently, anyone who says they don't run into glitches is mad coping and it shows, lol.
