Performance after 1.2 patch
What's been your experience with performance? The biggest issue to me has been performance and wondering if there's any major FPS boosts.

I notice lower frame times and higher/ more stable frame rates.

Before.
10-18ms frame times
40 - 80 fps in and out of bases.

After.
5-12ms frame times.
80 - 120 fps in out of bases
hangs out around 110fps most of the time.

My specs:
Everything but gpu:Expensive.
GPU: Oc'ed Asus tuf 3060 12g OC edition V2, performs close to 4070s according to Timespy.

Edit: yes dlss is enabled, set to DLAA though. Quality works really well but foliage looks like I dropped acid so I dont use it.

Out in the wilds is generally fine. Going to a factory or base camp is when you tend to see the game turn into a slideshow. Any place with more than 3 NPC's and it all goes tits up.

The patch didn't do anything in regards to that for me. Nothing really feels any different.
I'm getting tired of how poorly this game performs.

Thats most likly than because of the Hardware in your PC combined with some settings being to high for your hardware.

Both my computers (midrange and high end) do not behave like that, or have ever behaved like that with this game (exept the Faust fight on the roof where it did get low FPS, but not unplayable)

And my friends computer is also running fine now, his specs are right between my own 2 PC's

5800x, 32gb ram, samsung pro 980 m.2 with a 4080. So I dont think so. Its the game. Its terribly unoptimised. Like most modern games using Unreal 5.

my framerate still does hard drops around busy towns and bases (the same old memory leak issue) but when out exploring everything is good

Did you check to see if your memory is filling up constandly? because if its a memory leak it would keep getting fuller and fuller, untill ot crashes, and not stay stable at for example 9GB.
Sounds more like a setting isue with something like Hair or Shadows.

No its cant be getting full because when I exit to game menu, and then continue again its back to smooth

It's butter for me after 1.2.1 and updating the DLSS with the newest. I was pleasantly surprised, personally. 60-70 fps is great to me though. I was getting 50-60 before but it feels more responsive/smooth now and haven't seen it dip under 60 yet.
Performance far better after patch. But...:) Now I can't take any artefact. They just jump over me and fly about 10m away:)
